Two days back, I checked out a question here on yahoo answers which dealt with similar impossibility of organising a World Cup of test match cricket..

Sure it took me a couple of days, but now I have come up with the following article on my cricket blog, and hope that I have rectified all the problems that cricket lovers around the World had raised then.

How about you read the following 2 min piece and tell me what else I need to rectify in order to watch my TEAM INDIA winning that "Special World Cup".

Sorry wasn't able to open the link-my connection is playing up.

Anyway to answer you question:

1. The competition would take too long.
2. If it rains a lot during the period of the competition it would be harder to deal with than for one day games.
3. Tests are usually only exciting for the teams playing in them. Neutral fans wouldn't want to watch when their team isn't playing

You have got a good question

I feel that there has to be a world cup for test matches, but since it is too much time consuming the ICC doesnt want to organize it

According to me, the game has to be played for 3 days, each team has tp play 1 innings rather than 2 innings. The team that bats first has to bowl out the the opposistion before they reach the target

it is quite possible....it i snot necessary to have all the matches in one country...and even if we are to have all matches in one country only....we can play 4 matches at a time!!! 8 top sides to particiapte in a group of 4 each...all wil play 3 matches in the round league....and we can have many formula for the points system...but we can have this thing done in 2 months time easily!! we can have straight finals between the teams leadin gthire respective groups without having semi finals.one thing is for sure..if this ever goes on toi happen...it will be more interesting than the ODI world cup for those who really love crickat

5 x 50 = 250
so you need at least 250 days to end that world cup. and even if it ends, you are still not sure whether it ends in a win or a draw.

It will take long time. More than 4 months. It is not possible to carry on a tournament more than 4 months.
