It's cheaper than most places in the Bay area. Other than that, couldn't really say. All my time spent in Oakland, I was either hung over or out of my mind. My buddy got razored by some junky in front of a candy store in Oakland. I figured it was time to leave after that.

I like the fact that my job left Oakland and moved me to SF, Oakland is a craphole dump where people will shoot you if you accidentall cut them off. 85 homicides in 2006 and its only August?? I love this city!!! GHOST RIDE THE WHIP and get HYPHY!!!

Oakland isnt hard its just a bunch of idiots crammed into a gay city doing stupid stuff.and homocides PLEASE.. come to DC and ill show u a rough city. Even better baltimore. Oh to answer the question. I like oakland cuz its FAR FAR away from me.
