The answer to that is, of course, yes their lives are that empty. I suppose it's the big question of whether or not this baby even exists, since Katie Holmes' pregnancy looked so fake throughout the entire thing. I don't really follow it, but personally I think they don't even have a baby... so whatever

I think you will find the media is more interested in Tom Cruise and his baby, than actual people.
Media decides what is news etc, not the people. People need to let the media know that some things we just don't care about, not that they would listen anyway

For that matter, why are people crazy over Celine Dion's babies, or other people's? Famous people have no privacy. The people who obsess over this aren't empty, they're just focusing on unimportant things.
