go to the papers web site and check out the archived stories or ring em up and ask em to send you a copy of the paper

Contact the paper direct, they have loads of back copies and if it is a local paper, the local libary will have every single edition EVER on that funny film strip that you reel through some hundred year contracption whichthen magically lets you read the paper page by page.

If the paper has an internet site log on and you should be able to put in the date you are looking for and it should bring up the relevent info

look for the particular website for that paper/region

send them an email and request back issues

you should find a local or national in your local library... they store them in their archives and they go back years and years and years
