How can I tell my boyfriend that whether you're jealous or not, after a while, hearing him talk about other females is getting pretty mundane?I can tell by his constant remarks, I can tell he has thought about things, but I don't care...I wish he'd get over it... Is he trying to make me jealous and test my limits?

If he is not accepting it, then break it off. You don't need to go through that b/c all he is trying to do is lower your self esteem.

I'm that way, too. I just ignore it. Guys look. Guys talk. They always will. Even when they're with the hottest lady around, they still do this. Why? I'm not sure. It seems to be a part of their nature. A guy thing. They sometimes don't know that it gets old after a while. Some do it because they feel as if you're a best friend as well as a girlfriend. They talk to you like they would with one of the guys. They're comfortable with you. I don't think that he's trying to make you jealous. If it's gone on for a long time, just tell him about your thoughts on the subject. Maybe he's waiting to see what you're reaction is. Good luck! :)

I think you an enlightened woman. Men and women should try to understand each other and how their brains are wired more. Its the only hope we have of getting along and being happy in relationships. If you just say, go ahead and look at her and think about her all you want, and that it doesn't make you jealous. Then he woudn't be pushing your limits. For me, unless I'm gettin it 5 times a day or so, I'm gonna look and I'm gonna notice too. Can't help it. Wired that way. Women get oxytocin highs looking at babies, it sort of like that.

I agree with a couple of posters: Give him a taste of his own medicine by talking about hot hunks all the time. Guys just seem to want to date one woman, but he rather have someone else. My bf does that s--- to me, too, and I'm going to start talking about hunks around him. I don't need to be made to feel unattractive hearing about Madonna, Lucy Liu, among others. He even once admitted to seeing a hot chick at a NIN concert, and thought about f---ing her.

TWO can play the game! If he gets p---ed, and he will, tell him if it's ok to talk about other women around you and him fantasizing about them, he can't say s--- to you! After, he got to treat you the way he wants to be treated!

Or, like another person wrote, leave him and find someone who'll appreciate you.

Or, you can brag about the men who hit on you/ ask you for dates. Nothing kills a man's ego quicker than knowing a man wants his woman MORE than him!

Good Luck!

I'm not jealous at all, don't care what they do. Long as they come home and show me respect.

However, HE IS NOT showing you respect by what he's doing. That is not respect. That is disrespect and unless you're "into it" he needs to stop. He may feel its "okay" because you haven't said anything before now. Simply tell him this bothers you and you wish he would not do it around you anymore, as its disrespectful to YOU.

Sounds like he has very little respect for you. Are you sure he's worth the effort? The fact that you had to ask the question on here shows that it bothers you, at least a little. If it was me, I'd go ahead and dump him now. If talking about them doesn't get the response he wants out of you, next he'll start acting on his little fantasies to get to you. Don't wait.

I was in a situation like that once. I personally think it is not okay for guys to talk about other girls in front of their girlfriends. Your not being jealouse your just pissed off, you have every right to be. To tell you the truth guys that do that are ussually insecure, themselves and try to see how much they can get a girl to feel more dependant on them. Tell him how you feel, he might not know. But if he continues to do it after you tell him than dump him.

at first men find it strange . a woman who isnt jealous, some of it is testing ...they tend to go a bit wild with it till you tell them that, you have heard it all now,... you dont mind your glad he feels comfortable enuff to be honest with you ...but what about disscussing your relationship instead now, and putting the past to rest now,and that hes told you everything you need to know.. for the moment... im the same as you i believe jealousy is a waste of an emotion...

Here's my opinon, Humans are animals, it is normal behavior.most animals are not meant to "mate" with the same one for life so it's not personal and he's not trying to make you jealous, he doesn't want to be with anyone else sexually. He's being a social normal human being. talk with him about the girls, throw out your opinion- "She's got pretty eyes, I agree" "shes' fat baby" whatever I promise you the reaction you get will be priceless. you'll be a "cool" girlfriend.

if he's testing your limits, dump him- in the river with a brick attatched to his feet. seriously, if he's doing that, leave him, he's no good! but it could be that he wants to see if you get jealous
because if you don't, he'll think that you don't like him much...
did you show him any signs of being jealous? that could be why..
but confront him the next time he does it, okay? good luck!!
