Chanel or Lancome....there is no competition. There maybe some other brands that have good products but overall the two I mentioned are superior. I based my judgment on pigments, durability, tried and true favorites and technology. I recommend their perfumes and lotions, as well.

mac cosmetics. they are the best brand i have ever used. they are also alot of fun due to all the colors and great ideas you can get from them. the ladies at the counter are always friendly and willing to show you new things and techniques for getting the disired look you want. i don't like clinique because thats what the drag queens wear. not that i have a problem with drag queens i just don't want to look like one.

Really mary kay, avon or bare minerals. Even though they are all a little more expensive then the store bought items they are much better for your face. I used cover girl/maybeline products for years and my face always broke out in acne....then a friend got me to switch to Mary Kay and it is truly really nice, and my face is clear.

I prefer Revlon for the most part. It stays on better than most, and it's inexpensive.
