What are RODS has any of you ever seen them ?

I assume you are referring to flying rods. These are a mythical lifeform that was created by a particular scientist who used off track settings on his video camera. This caused flying insects to appear as enlongated rods. In other words, the insects got exposed multiple times in the frame. A slower speed would have created a blurred image but the settings that he used caused a sharp but replicated image. Rods do not exist.

BTW, I have seen the video tapes myself. He assertion that they fly extremely fast is invalid. These are indeed just insects captured on videotape in an unusual way.
