when I connect to the computer-it recognizes my ipods but I can only download things on my nano, and it doesnt even register that my ipod video is connected to itunes. when I open itunes with the ipod video connected it freezes

now I tried updating itunes and it goes halfway and stops...now I have no itunes and I'm about to flip out on these iasses

maybe if ur using the ipod nano cable to connect the ipod video to the comp, it wont work. my cousin has a ipod video and i have just an ipod w/o video and my cable doesnt work w/ hers and in fact it even froze the first time i connected it to my computer! it wont let me transfer songs or use it at all...i dont know if this is true (the cables not working w/ other ipods) but in my cousins case it doesnt! (her cable doesnt work w/ mine either.
