only issue I have is that the date stamp on the video says it's from 1995, before we met. But she could have doctored it, right? But why would she keep this tape around?

It would take a great deal of know how to doctor a VHS tape...not to mention the right equipment. How do you know she is cheating on you now...in the present? Not saying she isn't and that she could not have stamped it with the wrong date intentionally, BUT if it is from then then it will have an older look to it, theoretically. If it is from that time then I would say the reason she kept it is because sometimes we all keep hold of things that reflect personal memories of past times in our minds that meant something then, even if they don't now. Small reminders of who we once were as opposed to who we are now. Still wanna know WHY you are convinced she is cheating now though. What facts do you have to base suspicion on?

She probably forgot that she even still had it and would tell you the truth about the whole thing if you insisted on making a big deal outta nothing: that it was from some lame dinner party her friends insisted she come to (to meet Mr. Eligible, of course) and instead wound up dancing with the only guy who'd keep his paws to himself--some queer hairdresser, who had come stag to the party and they got along OK and so they danced to get everybody off their backs. All right, satisfied? That's all is was, Mr. Nosy. She shouldn't have to say a word about it anyway; do you wear a Roman collar? Do you hold the powers of absolution? Of course not. Now take it easy, tiger, before she breaks another one of your Craftsman tools!

She would keep it around because he was just a friend and they were only dancing... it could have been a birthday party or even a wedding... who knows. And you shouldn't be worried since it was before you met her... just look at her hair and clothes... if it was from 1995, you could tell the difference with today.

WOW buddy why are you married to her if you cant trust her,it is way before you and so what if she was dancing with another guy it is just a dance no big deal. You have security issues and i think you need to deal with it and i am surprise she is still with you due to them. If me i would have been gone along time ago she is with you not him or any one else , you need to trust completely and comunication pal in order to make a marriage work. You dont want her ,leave her, if you do you better stop being insecure and just love her and respect her and trust her.

She probably just forgot about it. I'm sure it doesn't mean anything to her. And a dance is NOT considered cheating unless she is doing other stuff besides dancing like kissing, groping etc.
