maybe you could download a free trial version from the adobe site (adobe photoshop??)

Your question is like asking, "where is a car dealer that will give me a free Mercedes". It's just not gonna happen. You will either have to steal it or purchase it.
But there is a free and opensource program called The Gimp. It is pretty good. You can find it at:
