Check with your university or their library for information on support lists for roommates, rideshare and other student needs.Craigslist.com and Roommates.com are good websites.
A roommate or boarder situation always leaves you in some way at someones mercy. Living alone gives a great measure of privacy and propriety. Living with someone takes a lot of compromise and blind trust. What ever you choose, always get a contract. Always take photos of before and after you moved and keep good records. Dont give cash with one hand without getting a signed reciept with the other.
Bon Chance!

go to www.craigslist.org

click on Boston and look for apartments/roomates.

I've used it a few times and it's free!
Boston is a very expensive city so a roomate is a good idea, also if they're nice, they can help you get to know Boston!
good luck

boston.craigslist.org is a good website. Also your university might have a student housing office that can help you. Boston is a great city.

Try looking on Craigslist.com (the boston link). They have a bunch of listings. You can always try roommates.com as well.

Also try boston.com. Its the local website/newspaper to help you out.

http://www.bu.edu/orientation/resources/offcampus.html

craigslist is a good resource, but see if the school you are going to attend has a roomate matching service. craigslist is famous for "flakes", for " "non fiable" people. and if your school doesn't provide this service ask them if they have a student orginization that does.

bonne chance!

http://www.craigslist.org and then click on Boston under the cities list. They will have listings for "roommate wanted" and you can answer some of those ads and see how it works out.

if you can afford it alone, you will have peace and privacy if not put add in paper or look at the ads posted in the school, make sure you screen them the best you can.
