Exactly which oil producing country did we take over? Not Russia, or parts of Africa, we aren't running Kuwait, and we are still at war in Iraq. Even when it is over here in Iraq (yes, that's where I am right now.) , we will not own the oil here.

I have an idea, how about you take a class on politics, perhaps watch a little bit of the news, then come back with a question.

Because the people supplying those resources are taking a little (or a crap-ton) off the top. Hello, Halliburton. All the major oil companies have made recorded profits since the war. Ironic, huh?

Because we gave the oil producing country we took over to Dick Cheney's company Haliburton, and he's okay with them ripping us all off to make him some money.

China and India are buying more oil every year, too many people are driving too many miles, oil speculators are driving up prices due to volatility in Iraq, Iran, Nigeria and Venezuela, and, maybe, it wasn't about oil.

Well,that's a deep subject hu,OK.for one we the UNITED STATE'S OF AMERICA haven't took over nothing,you need to do your homework.there is a difference between GAS and OIL. it's a fight for a power source which is getting low fast,because u can not fight a war without either one of them.

because the brave freedom fighters who are resiting your occupation have you bottled up in fortresses and everytime you step out you die let alone produce oil. you spend far more on Iraqis than you do on your own people after Katrina. if you stay it will get worse if you leave it will get far worse for you
all the time costing billions in you tax money.
