Yes, i heard of a person as early as 9 years starting their period. Everyones body is different, i started my period at age 14. but to answer your question, you don't only get a period when you turn 13, it comes when it comes.

Possibly I have heard of periods starting as early as 8 and as late as 17.

You can get your period at any age because every grl gets it at a different time but it usually will come around when you are 12-19 so be patient because ur not missing out on anything fun!!=p

Many young ladies get their cycle even before then, yes 13 is a normal age.

yes that is a perfectly natural age to get your period some woman get it as young as 10 years old, good luck and you have now entered the pain of being a woman. :)

It depends a lot on your heredity. Menses can begin at 8 or not until 16. I would have been happy to wait longer than I did.

maybe...you could get it younger than 13 or older than 13, everyone is different. I wouldn't stress about it...enjoy life without for now!

It really changes with every girl.
I got mine at 13.
There are symptons to know if youre getting it soon.
