Neutrogena makes a very gentle salicylic acid acne wash, but practically everything available over-the-counter will be much more gentle than any prescription-strength medication. I also recommend Clindagel(TM), which actually is prescription.

YOu should be able to find some skin cleaning products for people with sensitive skin. Just keep it clean, but use a gentle facewash, and don't exfoliate because it will irritate your skin and make your pores smaller, making them more likely to clog. non irritating stuff is the key. Don't wash too often though- that'll irritate your skin and dry it out, and make it start producing MORE oil- which obviously doesn't help. You just have to find the balance. OH and change your pillowcase at least once a week oil and junk can get trapped in that.

I have sensitive skin also, but I would not use Proactive because it will irritate sensitive skin and make the acne more noticeable. Good Luck

Blue light therapy. Blue light kills bacteria under the skin. You can get blue light therapy through a dermatologist, so call around. You sit under a special lamp that emits light in the blue spectrum. You don't need medication, and after a couple of sessions, acne improves. I don't know why more people don't do this!

i've tried everything, frm messy stuff to expensive ones, none worked! here's wht realy works ~ DETOX! if nothing works on the outside, do it frm the inside! i believed in a chinese practice ~ ie cleanse the body system to get rid of the "bad blood" which caused acne. u can do this in two ways, drink detox tea (dr stuart's detox tea is a cheap good one) and take cleansing tablets which contains herbs like st john's wort and echinacea(try Cleansa Plus-i forgot the brand!). it may takes a while but its worth trying! and as for the face, keep it clean and stay away frm too much make up! im using avon clearskin products now and its pretty good.
