toner is actually a product to even out the Ph of your skin. Alcohol has a high acidity level. Alcohol can be used as an astringent. Witch hazel is also above 7 on the Ph scale however much closer than alcohol. Hydrogen peroxide has a Ph level of 5 (closer to the base level) thus, will balance out witch hazel's acidity. Hope this helps.

No, it cannot be used as a toner! A toner is used to neutralize the skin after washing. Rubbing alcohol is way too harsh and it will only dehydrate the skin.... it can also irritate it. Try witch hazel instead.

My dermatologist told me that using rubbing alcohol as a toner will eventually make your skin rough and leathery.

You could in case of emergency but if you use a lot you will have a really dry skin. And if you have a sensitive skin it will skin and make it a little irritation maybe.

I use it sometimes. Your face will get a little dry, but it'll zap those zits away like no other.

No, too drying and hard on your face. If you want something that is a reasonable price, natural, and easy to find, use witch hazel.

Yes, but it's a little harsh. You can buy witch hazel instead at Walgreens. That's a milder product.
