I am married and I like stuffed animals. Why do people think it's weird that I like stuffed animals? I am not hurting anybody, it is just one of my hobbies to collect them.

Nah, my hubby doesn't care. When hes not there, sometimes I like cuddling them before bed. I know that's weird, but I don't care. I do it cuz it helps me sleep.

I gotta agree with Merci. There is nothing wrong with letting your inner child free.

am married too and i like stuffed animals!!...the really cute ones , especially puppies...sometimes people make me feel like am too old for that and think its childish but i can't help it, they're just
b!tchy people with no gentle side to them...i'll go to a shopping mall and all i come home with a stuffed animal from Carlton cards, Hallmark or american greeting instead of clothes...i love the feel of them....some are so cute they seem so real..i love to hug them while i sleep...i'll collect them but theres too many, no room for it...they are comforting ....i plan to save them for my future kids...but anyways i don't see anything wrong with it...unless someone actually starts acting like a baby....

Stuffed animals, cartoons, games, .... there is absolutely NOTHING WRONG with them. People simply look for a chance to criticize others. And just because they are doing the criticizing does not mean they are right.

I love stuff animals. I still have my yellow Mr. Bear with me though now I am all grown up. I still watch Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and Spongebob Squarepants on TV. I'm an optimist person. And people need to keep in touch with their childish enthusiasm in order to be optimist, in order to appreciate the world in the most innocent way.

There's nothing wrong with that.

Don't feel bad - they give me a hard time too. I've collected all kinds of bears since I was in school (I'm 41, married with 2 kids now) and still have favorites that are on display, including stuffed. If they don't like it, they don't have to look!

people relate it to only kids having stuffed animals. I have a few I once had a frog that sit on my computer. we still like the things we did as a kid why people thinks that should disapear is beyond me. I collect porcelin dolls and some are now worth a lot of money.

Do you mean cuddly toys or the result of taxidermy? The result of taxidermy, I would have some objection to...

Cuddly toys...I'm twenty and I have soooo many. I love Eeyore and I have loads of Eeyores on my bed. I also have a couple of Steiff bears. That's no one's business 'cept mine.

If your hubby objects, you maybe need a separate space to put them in, so they're not in his way, but he should allow you your hobby. Everyone else's opinion simply does not matter. If it makes you happy, so be it.

Most people associate stuffed animals as childrens toys. I am glad to know I am not the only one who still enjoys them.

Some people may look at it as if it's a kind of security blanket or something. I don't think it's weird. I still have a couple.
