Cable internet is the fastest possible, but expensive
Try AT&T/Yahoo DSL, its a lot faster than dialup, and its only 12$/month, so not a whole lot expensive (you might have to sign a yearly contract)

I work for Microsoft and we here at microsoft dont highly recommend Aol. A mentally challenged people and children can easily access it. Not to mention the connection is horrible it is like connects like molasses in the middle of winter. Not only that pop up's galore. You have to be mentally challenged to have AOL. AOL is like a rash on your butt it jst wont die. If you want a good messenger use yahoo or MSN they are far better. AOL is just a child's toy that needs to be recalled. Use satelite it is by far the best. It is cheap and reliable.

The best to have is a cable hookup...it is also the fastest. The cost will run you anywhere from $40 to $60 a month...depending on the service you choose.
