I use my lap top to access my shared file from my Desktop but It's said I don't have permission on this Network Resource.

try going to ur desktop and go to ur wireless network and then go to settings and then press public or something similar

go on your desktop, and see if the folder require a password, or aren't shared, by right clicking on the folder and selecting properties, then going to the last tab. check all the info there.

have you set up file and printer sharing on both computers?
Are they both in the same workgroup
right-click my computer > select properties > select "computer name" tab.
see the workgroup for both computers.
Are you using a router at home? do they have similar ip addresses?
click start > run > type in cmd (click ok)
in the window that opens type in "ipconfig" (without the quotes)
on both machines to see what their ip addresses are.

You haven't guessed the userid and password that you're using on your network resource yet.
