I'm off to bed soon, but feeling a bit stressed and uptight. Any nice thoughts to help me be calm and get to sleep? Thanks.

to sound really corny, think of a beautiful mountain feild. it has colorful wildflowers and a clear clean brook nearby. the birds r tweeting quietly and a deer and her fawn just leaped past. ur at peace with the world and nothing can touch u. well, unless u want them to(wink!). concentrate on ur breathing. take in good. let out the bad.

The one that drops me off in the average 7 minutes is planning what I would do with my mega million lottery winnings. I start by figuring out (based on the current expected payout) how much I would have after the IRS got through, then dividing it between my husband and me. The math alone usually puts me to sleep.

Otherwise, think of gorgeous flowers, like roses. Take them mentally from a bud into full flower, all different colors. Enjoy.

i count big puffy sheep that hop over the fence with a rainbow in the background - find some spray that smells good and spray it on your pillows - that is always nice - (they sell pillow spray and lavender is the best for sleep - it relaxes you)

Personally - I think you should take a bath - men deny even wanting to do this but I make my boyfriend take one with bubbles and I light candles for him and play his favorite music - there is NOTHING better to relax you and take the day away. If you live with any woman, use her bubble bath or shower gel - it is so relaxing and light candles - plllleassse try it - you will love it and then you will be a closet bath fan.

If I cant sleep I often think of lying on a beach and all the things I can see, hear and feel...sand between my toes etc. Sounds a bit hippy-ish i guess, but it may work!

Remember the "Corona Beer commercial you nothing but the palm trees and the white beach and blue water.... the guy throwing the pager away..... finally the ice cold corona Nice and relaxing

say a prayer. seriously. when I am stressed I think about what would be right for my life, then I say a prayer to help me get through the stresses and give me guidance on making the right decisions.

Get a punching bag and go crazy!!! You release the stress, you burn some calories and if someone tries to jump you, Wham, you do right hook and you're gonna feel good!!!
