1. Brazil

2. No, it's typical for France to do poorly, than the lattar of the tourny, they shine like heros.

3. ITALIA ALL THE WAY.

4. France won't, Italy may. The chances for France and Italy to dominate in EURO 2008 is very likely.

5. Not a follower of Argentina, but that was a very close game when Miroslav scored to keep Germany in, Argentina did very well, but got unlucky.

6. Not a big fan of Brazil, not really disappointed though, France did deserve a win, and Brazil already has to many cups.

7. I wanted Italia, and anyone else on the opponent side, BESIDES ARGENTINA, and BRAZIL.

1. Portugal played the best, but were very unlucky.
2. I was surprised that France got as far as they did because I find nothing spectacular about them.
3. I wanted Italy to win the World Cup, but I would have easily settled for Portugal as well.
4. I don't think that France will dominate the next World Cup. Italy will probably have a pretty good shot though.
5. I was disappointed with Argentina not making it farther. I think that they were robbed.
6. Brazil was a surprise (in not making it farther), but I definitely was not disappointed.
7. Italy vs. Portugal would've been an amazing final. I think it would've been very entertaining to watch because they're both very talented teams and they're my favorites.

1. Very hard to decide. I thought Italy played best, but they weren't exactly unlucky, so probably Argentina or Brazil would fit into that category.
2. A little, but there's nothing to be surprised about for the results when Zidane is playing. -__-
3. The Netherlands, because they're truly a great team, it's just that they aren't very experienced yet, and the country has been successful, yet hasn't won a World Cup tournament in its history. I later supported Italy when the Netherlands were eliminated... but Italy is a wonderful team. =D
4. Not unless they find new players who can somehow resemble the strengths of the squad for the FIFA World Cup 2006. So many of their players are retiring.
5. Argentina was a wonderful team, they just happened to face the Germans, who were relatively strong as well... but Argentina might have won if their starting goalkeeper wasn't injured.
6. I expected them to at least make it to the semi-finals, but I wasn't very disappointed since they didn't really have the team-spirit they did back in 2002.
7. Italy, and maybe Brazil. It would be interesting to see the defending champions face the eventual champion.

1.Argentina...they played well but were unlucky..against Germany...and also Portugal against France (the penalty)
2. Um..ya...they didnt do very well in the group stage so was surprised to see them come up so much and beat Brazil, Portugal!
3. Brazil...or Italy
4. Maybe..thought the same with Brazil this year..so cant really say
5. Argentina played quite well!
6. Yes...kinda
7. Brazil vs Germany/Argentina......or Italy vs Portugal

1 Germany
2 Yes
3 Anyone except England (preferably Argentina)
4 No chance
5 They were over confident. After the group stage they thought they had already won the cup but they were actually no where near it yet. After the tough Mexico game you'd think they would have up'd their game.
6 No. I didn't expect much from them anyway. They had too many old players and even though he scored 3 or 4 goals Ronaldo shouldn't had been in the starting line up.
7 I wanted Scotland to be at the finals but I wanted the final to be Argentina vs Germany

1. Argentina!!! Also, the Ivory Coast should have made it out of the group stage (in any other group but C), and Australia didn't deserve to go like that, IMO.

2. Yes, but to be fair I hadn't watched France's games in the group stage, so I didn't really know what was going on with them.

3. Argentina.

4. Nope! I think the non-Euro teams will shine this time, especially the top African teams and the two South American giants.

5. Their games were the most exciting for me, and I nearly tore my hair out during the Arg-Mex game. I was crying by the end of the shootout with Germany, it was so unfair that our Pato got injured, and Pekerman made such costly mistakes with the other substitutions! I liked him as coach, but he screwed up the most important game.

6. Well, once Argentina was out I figured I'd root for our neighbor Brazil, but that didn't work out too well. They weren't playing like the best team in the world.

7. Argentina and anybody

2006-08-04 00:01:57 · answer #7 · answered by Flor 4 · 0 0

1. germany
2. yes
3. the team that i wanted to win the world cup did win it (italy)
4. france won't, but Italy will. France going to the finals was just good luck, they didn't deserve to be there.
5. i think that they were a pretty good team. But if Italy ever played them, Italy would kill them!
6. i don't care about Brazil, cuz i hate them
7. Italy and Argentina would be an intersting game. Even though i said that Italy would kill them, but it would still be an interesting game!

1. Argentina
2. actually I didn't think France's performance was any way near spectacular.
3. Italia
4. no......they will not dominate the next world cup.....but Italia has a better chance of going further since I find they have a better crop of younger talent.
5. Argentina had a great team.......got unlucky but they should be a favorite for the 2010 world cup.
6. yes, Brazil disappointed me but I figured they would not make it since they have problems playing on european soil and they had too many individualistic players.
7. I wanted Italia and Brazil in the finals.

Forza Italia........Forza Azzurri.........SIAMO NOI.......I CAMPIONE DEL MONDO...........PS......FRANCE SUCKS....KEEP STARING AT THAT ONE STAR.........WE HAVE 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)
