Politicians do a lot of talking.
Soldiers do a lot of fighting and many die.
Innocent people do a lot of suffering and many, many of them die.
Taxpayers do a lot of paying.

We cannot even clean up after Hurricane Katrina!

Oh sure, we swept up The World Trade Center and patched the hole in the Pentagon ... but what about the rest of this mess?!

Now Israel thinks they're so tough and will rid the world of Hezbolah ... yeah, sure they are.

All these great ideas are only leading to more distruction, anger and death.

So, why haven't we won ?

We haven't won for the same reason you have viruses and bacteria in your body. You can't kill them all, simultaneously, and they create more.

If we were to listen to the seditious, the socialists, the traitorous, the Islamic fundamentalist, we would simply give up, let them attack us with greater and greater terrorist attacks, surrender our government, and all live under Islamic rule.

I'm sure germs would want us to surrender as well, if they could want.

This is not a war of success, any more than the war on drugs is. It is utterly foolish and childish to think we can "win the war". It can't be won.

We can only surrender and die, or...

we can kill enough of them that we can get on with our lives for a while without having to worry about them for a while, just like we do with germs.

Your way?

Stop paying, stop fighting, go back to terrorists taking pot shots at us that are bigger, and bigger, and bigger. Just let them do it, without repercussions, without response.

Let us die on the schedule of the terrorists.

What nonsense!

truth is there is no winning when it comes to war. there is always residual animosity that springs up later. true winning is only possible if there is resolution and harmony between both parties. a lot of money can be made on war. look at bechtel and halliburton. bechtel won a $680 million dollar contract to rebuild iraq. war is great for the economy, just not the poor and middle class.

the war on drugs, well another way to make money by keeping the prison system in business by busting the little guys. the government will never admit it but they do profit on the drug trade. who would pass up such a big money maker?

katrina was an unfortunate mishap...not part of the plan. when it comes to social problems, the government would rather put in on the backs of the working class to pick up the burden and volunteer help. there is money for big companies to rebuild new orleans, but that requires taking people's property. there is no money in rebuilding poor neighborhoods as an act of human compassion. their has to be a profit for anything to happen.

war has another purpose. by keeping people afraid and indulging in war, they have more power to manipulate and get people to agree with their actions. people often don't look at how their rights are being taken away if they are told it is to protect them. hence people agree to have tax money spent on destruction rather than culitvating healthly intelligent people.

basically, we live to feed and house the rich and throw them big fancy parties. government no longer exists to guide and serve the people. it exists now to run our country like a business (which means keeping a supply of cheap labor) and in that it uses control of the populace. it throws us bones and scraps every once in a while to make it seem like they care and that things are changing and getting better, but really, anyone who has eyes can see how bad it is. honestly, how can we be wage slaves and say that we live in a free country?

how do we help solve the problem? build community commonwealth. use buying power. support local businesses, farmers, and each other rather than large corporations, franchises, and supermarkets. even though they offer cheap prices, the cost of ethics and humanity is high. also, look for ways to reduce our individual dependency on petroleum products.

together we stand, divided we fall.

There's more to the confusion than any one war. The world is changing into a global economy and many American citizens need to become aware that America is not a "Democracy" but a "Republican Democracy" where they do not get to elect the president directly, but only get to vote for politicians who represent them.

Now globalization is occuring and Americans, like me, realize that our government is NOT in charge of the world events that are happening, but is a "WAR MACHINE" for someone else.
Who could that be?

so you think you can save the world huh? think it's that easy? and what would you do lakota bob? would you sit and do nothing, let the terrorists take over the world? or do you speak to some all knowing God that has, for some reason, given you the secret to peace?
