Do you feel it's any of our business what he said or did? Or do you believe as I do, that what happened is between he and the officers and family. I mean, he was intoxicated, and we all say things we do or dont mean under the influence. Don't you think enough is enough?

Enough is not enough. His father is a holocaust denier. I would be happy to show you some pictures of family members who were murdered in Europe by the Nazis and their myriad collaborators. pictures of chilkdren, women and men) Mostr people do not become fulminating antisemites when they get drunk. Nor become noisy sexist louts. Mr. Gibson has blamed me, my family and all my co-religionists for starting all the wars in the World. His movie The Passion of The Christ helped enhance the lie that Jews alone killed Christ. (which is a lie),. We are not 2,000 years old. (Italians/Romans, why does no one blame them?) Incidentally Christ and Mary and Joseph and his whole family were Jews. As were most of the apostles and St. Paul. Christ is called Rabbi in the New Testament. i.e. Mr. Gibson's God.
Enough is not enough, never again he is a vicious anti-semite and no half hearted apology, 3 days later, is going to change what he repeatedly said when he was arrested. It is not like a hangover that fades as the next day after wanes. Can Mr. Gibson bring back 90% of my family that were murdered in Europe? Is enough is enough.? Am I supposed to forget them and kiss Mr. Gibson on the forehead, or turn the other cheek? Hardly.
Enough is not enough
Hopefully some non-Jews will regard Mr. Gibson with the opprobrium he merits as will the majority of Jews.
Dan.
p.s. I am no fool, I am not brain dead, I have a life, and I will never forget: because as the holocaust is minimized today, it will be forgotten tomorrow, and repeated the day after. But we will not forget and we will go down fighting and take as many with us as we can. We now know what many non-Jews will do, and how depraved they can be.
Do Not use the term holocaust lightly. 6 million Jews were murdered but the Nazis systematically exterminated another 6 million Gypsys, Jehovas' witnesses, Slavs, people with physical or mental deformities, Socialists, and a host of other "inferior" people. There has been only one holocaust _since_ World War Two. (Pol Pot's massacre of 1 ot 2 million of his fellow Cambodians), There has not been any other holocausts since. Certaily, nothing of that scale in Iraq, Palestine, or anywhere else, where the word has been loosely used.
To misuse that word, for exaggeration is obscene, and disrespectful.

ROFLMAO.

First off, this man SPENDS 10'S OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS on PUBLICITY for each and every movie he puts out. Ten's of million's. How MUCH are you worth? So PLEASE don't tell me HE'S A PRIVATE PERSON, THAT'S BS. HIS CAREER DEMANDS HE NOT BE A PRIVATE PERSON.

Also, while I was being raised, I was always taught that the real danger of alcohol wasn't in just "drinking and driving" although that was a horror to be avoided at all cost, it was the fact that alcohol "freed you of your inhibitions and let the "real" you come out," simply because it was a depressent and as one, you showed your "true self."

Do NOT for a second believe that Mel Gibson regrets one thing he SAID, he does not. No. HE REGRETS THAT EVERYONE ELSE HEARD IT! That's all. After all, his father doesn't even believe the Holocaust even happened, so it's a miracle Gibson isn't spouting that. Look it up, Yahoo! and Google are just "right there!"

mel gibson acted like a fool. If it is expected that people are interested to see him in the movies, it is only obvious they will be equally as interested in seeing what he does in his personal life. Im sure he knows that as well as every other celebrity. Being drunk isnt an excuse for anything, let alone bigoted comments. Usually thoughts we keep hidden in soberness come to the surface with alcohol. Good thing he didnt run someone over!

That is Mel's life and his opinion, with which I do not agree and you too can choose to ignore. I certainly do not condone killing 6 million or 6 of any race or anyone but I seriously think that this world has gone mad. Oh by the way we all feel very very bad about the holocaust but hey the same thing was kind of going on in Iraq and God knows where else in this terrorist infested world but the minute our President up and does soemthing about it he gets cut down by the liberal democratic media scum and labeled warmonger. You just can't win.

I've heard enough to last a lifetime. But, the man is a public figure, so every time someone in the public eye steps out of line, the media is all over it. He's admitted he screwed up and is going into rehab for an alcoholism problem. Enough already!!!

We have seen the real Mel Gibson. When he decided to drive drunk and run off at the mouth he put himself on the front page.

When he was interviewed when his movie about the crucifixion was released, I saw that this man was on the edge. It doesn't surprise me hearing about that incident. I believe his comments about Jews were a psychological phenomenon (need a psychologist to explain exactly what). and that he needs to get some help and recenter himself. I wish him a speedy recovery.

I totally agree, if my life was as public as his I would have some bad habits too. I cant imagine having to deal with all the media. Enough is Enough!

Mel Gibson is one of the greatest actors ever! We all make mistakes, and we should leave him alone.

I think that it is the public's business simply because he chose a profession that placed him under public eyes. And being drunk is no excuse.
