It's easier for people to believe that the persons described in the scam are in dire need as the countries are 3rd world countries w/out the same things that we take for granted.

They are everywhere, but in Nigeria, it is a big business, it is a poor country, so alot of people get rich by scamming....if anyone you never met in person asks you to send them money(western union and bank transfers...they like to use Wells Fargo and Bank of America) believe you are being scammed. Personals sites are real bad for having scammers, they use models photos. If you search an age range you can ususally spot several of the same photos with different profiles....Just never send money, or give out any bank or person info and, they can be entertaining though.....their stories can be better than soap operas, so keep them chatting if you are bored , keeps them from working on someone else that doesn't have a clue.

That is how they make their email to seem to you but it might not necessarily be originated from Africa, and the reason behind this is that you dont bother pursuing them as you wont get anywhere if they are not in non-regulated countries like 3rd world countries.

Just cause they say they are from West Africa doesn't mean that they actually are.Theives are thieves no matter where they are from.
Plus we are not cheating so and sos as the moron mentioned earlier.

Have a look at the 419 site, it is informative and a good laugh when you read of the baiting of these scammers.

Because they think we are all Stupid ,the Begging Bowl is permanantly Out because they know there are a lot of generous but sometimes stupid folk who fall for this BULLSHIT

no government controls there. So it is always there or they try to say they are from UK
