There is noting Wrong with make up but 2 much u r really hiding wat u look like.
Just be more honest about how u look .

not true. make up doesn't "hide" how you look unless you put way too much on. people who put makeup on correctly look good.

also, you might as well get rid of your avatar, because i'm pretty sure you don't look like that.

As a person who wears almost no make-up most of the time, I am inclined to say it isn't a TOTAL lie. It is possible to naturally enhance certain features, without going overboard. It is also easier to be ready to go somewhere quickly, to not worry about having an itchy face or blowing my nose, or worry that I am going to have "raccoon eyes" if I get emotional or forget to wash my face the next morning.

It really depends on the person. If she wears make-up to enhance her best features, then yeah - wear it and be proud. But if she hasn't got a clue about what she's doing (especially when people have told her so, and her continues regardless), then she really needs a wake up call.

I don't wear make-up myself - maybe a bit of mascara when I can be bothered, but I do worry about those who spend 30 mins colouring their faces like it's a paint-by-numbers canvas just so that they can go out and buy milk!

Yeah well it depends on how much are you wearing. And if you use it to cover up or to bring out the stuff you like about your face (eyes lips ect). Because if you call that a lie then what about dressing? I mean people wear what suits them. Black if you want to look slimmer, stripes to bring something out and so on. And what about haircuts ? Some suit you, some dont. Not talking about surgeries ect. So my point of view would be, that wear makeup if it makes you feel good and gives you confidence because if you got that you smile to people and they can feel you being proud of your looks wich adds alot to yourself. And attracts others.

Make up is great for actuating features. Yea some people go over board with make up and make themselves look like clowns. But there's nothing wrong with using it when getting dressed up or a little bit during the day. It shouldn't be boycotted.

There is nothing wrong with "enhancing" your natural features a bit, but as long as there is no major facial reconstruction involved then I see it as natural beauty. Women should be more honest about how they look...over the internet especially, cuz so many people put up fake pics.

Yeah, the natural look is simpler and allows the real person shime through rather than depending on a million layers of makeup that aren't even essential to everyday life

ok, i see what you mean about the whole make hides what you really look like. But i personally need to wear make up, i need to wear make up becuase i have self esteem issues and for me when i wear make up i feel better and prettier and more confident. I know that it's not good and too much can be a bad thing but it helps me get through my day, I mean i cant even bear to look at myself with out it on (even though i have people tell me i look pretty with out it ). But say what you will about it hiding what you truely look like and how natural is better. But for me personaly i couldn't look at a mirror with out it.
With that said people who disagree can but i know what works best for me.


P.s- for al the people who will read this and try to give some Bull S h i t answer about how i am ****** up and i need help and you shouldnt listen to what i read.... well they can all drink bleach and die, cause for now i am happy with my make up and how it helps me so HA!

I see where you are coming from but I just want to give you a different perspective. People where makeup to enhance their best features. There is nothing wrong with that, but I think some people just go a little overboard. so I see what you are saying. but you just got me thinking about why we started wearing it in the first place! =)

I put on my war paint each & everyday. Who the heck wants to see a self-conscious looking, vulnerable face? When worn right, make-up can play up your best features! Make up protects your skin from the pollutants in the environment. I LOVE MY MAKEUP !!!

I don't wear make-up. Not sure if it's just being lazy or what but hey that's it. I used to but my face would break out alot (Lazy remember). As long as I have a tan I look good. Haven't had a tan in 3 years tho.
