If you are getting burnt out on it...take a break. That should give you a chance to refocus. Take up a different sport during that time to keep fit so you don't loose that flexibility.
Another possibility is see if you can sit in on other classes at other studios to see different techniques of teaching the same style.
I took Kali for a few years and got bored with it. Went to a different studio and saw a completely different style of Kali. When I went back to my instructor and talked to him about it he changed some of our lessons. I regained interest and also had a chance to meet other people.

Depends on your reasons for going. Things to consider: Do you enjoy it? Do you get anything out of it? Are you paying for it? Is someone else paying for it? Do you really think it's beneficial to you? Do you know the other students? AND NOW the biggest and best consideration......drumroll plllllease.......Would it be cheaper and more realistic to just get a gun, and, attend a firemarm class? If you are going to the class because you think it will allow you to ward off an attack, think again. Probaly not! If defense is what you lack/need, get a gun, or, get in shape. If you condition your body and your mind, it's noticeable, and, in the process you harden yourself as a potential target. How many times have you seen the most fit guy in school, the gym, in church, the store, or, in your class talk about being victimized. On the news, the robbery victim, how fit was he or she? How many times have you heard of a pro athlete, a stregnth coach, a soldier, or, even a construction worker be picked on, robbed, or, bullied. Not too often, if ever. Generally speaking, they are all in good shape, mentally and physically. THey are aware, there jobs depend on their being alert, and, fit. This also discourages a would be robber from targeting them. In summary, decide why it is you take the class, and, then decide whether or not it's wise for you to go.

sure, all of us's first-type is like that. do not worry about it. keep reading demanding, and also you ought to capture up, if not surpass those 10 year olds. :) a sturdy pointer pronounced above should be to communicate with the instructor after type, percentage what you've realized and then ask some specfic questions. go some more effective cases - it ought to get more effective constructive.

well it depends on what you're doing it for... if it's for self defense... i think you're waisting your time... ju jit su; muay thai; boxing or just your everyday street fighting would help you.

if it's for exercise then boxing will give you the best cardiovascular work out.

and if it's for "discipline" then i say wake up... those karate masters talking nonsense

Yes, why not?
It is healthy, gives your confidence, energy, etc.
I would do it if it were not for my inflexibilty and lack of hand-eye coordination!
GOod luck!
