You've got to remember a picture is flat and 2-D, but you not. Give out your best from the inside, and that is what people will see, not just the outside paint.

Whenever you see someone covered in a mask of makeup, just remember that their self esteem might have been hurt, they don't believe in themselves, or they want to look like stars on t.v. If everyone in the world took of their makeup and didn't pluck their brows, or get haircuts, we would all have natural beauty inside and out(unless you are a mean person, then you will always be ugly). But if you look good with lip gloss, then you most definitely look good without it, because all it does is add shine to your lips. Makeup enhances your beauty, and if you like the way it makes you look and feel, then it's okay to wear it, as long as it's not for the wrong reasons...And don't over do it, because then it would hide your real beauty.

Ah, the makeup trap, like I call it... this could take a while. lol. Well, here goes:
First of all, it depends if you truly are unattractive. Do others consider you so? Try and get someone honest to tell you... besides, even if you weren't that gifted on the inside, don't forget the most important- the inside! If you have inner beauty, you can be sure it'll shine through (unless you're REALLY bad on the outside. lol. Just kidding)
Now, second, but most important part... I was trapped with the thought that I was only strikingly beautiful with makeup. The only way to please boys and such too. It may have to do with my age (*check my source box to see my age*), but even women have this problem, obviously. The key into finally being free of this- this problem- is to think, "Is beauty made from illusion really that beautiful?" No. I only striked men from my fake image, not my real, and that hurt. Only recently I realized all of this... put the least possible makeup and think it's best to be complimented from your REAL image. Not easy, I know, but you'll get used. In fact, I think you should force yourself! Like, only wear lipstick or something and NOTHING ELSE. Take care of your skin and watch your weight- that's just about the two most important things for your appearance- and that's it. Honestly.
Hope this helped and very best wishes to you! :)

Look at your face, and a female friend's face in the mirror, and compare them. What are the differences? How are they alike? My point is, beauty is only a perception based on the current popular standard. No one face is any better than any other. It apears you might be conditioned to associating beauty with makeup, and outfits. Is there anywhere you can go where people dress different, and don't wear makeup? Mabe hang out at a coffee shop in that area for a while and observe people without making them nervous. Hope this helps some.

Well, i've been like that before so maybe i could share a something about my experience,^_^ why not try to put on some ight pink blush on ur apple cheeks? to make you look more pretty and blooming? I know wearing lip gloss could make you really feel pretty and glossy but although your not wearing it you can use other trick to beautify yourself, like putting light make ups such as eyeshadows, clear mascara on your eyelashes so that you'll look more starryeyed and fresh,=) and how about using powder to keep that oil off your face? and after this beauty buzz put on some perfume or cologne, that way you'll smell fresh and fruity all day w/o worrying even you look haggard, hehehe,, =)

Everybody has their own definition of pretty, but pretty is something on the inside. List all of your positive qualities - are you good at something? Has there been something amazing you've done? Just think of one of your good qualities every time you feel you have low self esteem. You're beautiful because of who you are - just remember that. Hope it helps!
