Daniel is a very strong name. A single sylable strong middle name should be appropirate. I suggest Scott.

My Brother in law's name is Daniel Wade...I think it's cool because Daniel is 2 syllables and Wade being 1 makes it sound good.

It truly depends on the last name as well. You want the name to flow if you have a middle name.
