I had alot of luck meeting cool, like minded people on Yahoo 360. You can create a blog to express yourself, and then search people with similar interests as you, or you can just go blog-hopping and you can meets tons of people that way too! I enjoyed it alot, until my password was stolen, and I had to start all over again :0(. Good Luck!

go to chatrooms or go to yahoo groups. Find things that interest you and join a message board about it. I've made a couple friends that way. I've been chatting with one person for almost three years after meeting him on a message board. just find a nice place.

try going into a chat room of your interest that usually works and then dowload some messangers and add them to there so that you do not lose touch with those people.
