Because they are two very strong pain killing ingredients ususally found in pain killers, sinus medications, allergy meds etc.and when combined , the effect could be fatal or sometimes, nothing.
I suggest u takeonly the sinus med cuz the acetuminophen in the Sinus Med will help ease any pain you may be feeling so the need for ibufrofen to do the same thing will be redundant.
or ..you could take your sinus med and an extra (just 1) pill of tylenol that way you knock out the pain and just stick to acetiminophen instead of mixing it with ibuprofen.

Because they do the same thing, and you could get to much, but if you have a fever a lot of times they say to alternate every 4 hrs between ibuprofen and Acetaminophen.
I would call the pharmacist or doctor but If you take your sinus med and still have a headache and still want to take 1 ibuprofen you should be OK. but please check with someone who knows.

You can...when I had my surgery the doctor even recommended taking them together for greater relief. Just be careful of the dosages. Check with your doctor though, because the two meds together might interact badly with something else you might be taking.
