David Wright is and will be for about 4-6 years because hes still young and has way more time to grow like the rest of the mets... im sure they will win the world series at least once if not more in the next 9 or so years

Okay, this isn't a hard question. Center fielder Carlos Beltran is the best player on the Mets. Come on people he hit 3 grand slams last month. Another reason why he is the best is that he is a great fielder. He can rob home runs at will. He will lead the Mets to the World Series, but unfortunately, they will lose to the White Sox in 6 games.

David Wright the third base is not bad. I like the Yankees and your guy is doing better than the 25 million dollar wonder boy. Atleast he comes cheap at 375,000, is helping the team, and the bottom line of the franchise.

I'm basing my answer on who might make the Hall of Fame, and the only two players on that list are Pedro Martinez and Tom Glavine, and Martinez is a much more likely Hall of Famer than Glavine, so he's the best Met...

I really like David Wright and his overall Game , but it's hard to beat what Carlos Beltran has done this year especially lately He's got power and speed along with a pretty good glove.

athough the Mets (go mets!) have some pitching problems, thier outfielders and hitters are all very good. Reyes has done do much for the team, Beltran and Delgado are really cool too!
Yeah, Mets are gonna be #1!!!

They've got a great team this year. I would rank their top five as follows:
1. Beltran
2. Wright
3. Pedro
4. Reyes
5. Delgado
I just hope the Astros can pull out another one of their furious end-of-season charges so we can catch you in the playoffs. We still owe you one from 86.
