This is my idea for a European super league. Tell me what you think?
It could consist of 3 teams from England, Italy and Spain, 2 teams from Germany and 1 team from Scotland, France, Holland, Portugal and Russia. This would make a league of 16 'top' teams.
The team that finishes bottom of the group of 3 would go into a play-off with the winner of the Premiership, Seria A and Liga 1. In Germany's case it would be who was second between their representatives.
Those countries with only 1 representative would only avoid a play-off if they reached 40 points.
If a team in the super league lost their play-off then there place would be taken and they would return to their own Premier League.
What do you think? What would you change, if anything?

The Champions League is not a league, it's a knockout competition, as is the U.E.F.A. Cup.

There would be no need for the Champions League and they would only play in the super league. Not in there own country's.
