well, i'm assuming that your friends from middle school will be there along with you on your first day. so you wont' be lonely. there are going to be a lot of incoming freshmen.
just don't try and think your "all that", when u get to high school. u know? you can usually tell who's a freshmen on campus. but don't be scared. just think of it like middle school, but with MORE students who are older, and a BIGGER campus. the first day is always the scariest. you'll do fine. don't worry.

not that scary, just go the day of orientation and find where all your classes/cafeteria/library/fields/lockers/bathrooms and all other main places are located so you know ahead of time and don't have to walk around like a geek with a map of the school and stuff. Thats what I did and It saved so much time and people thought I was older b/c I knew my way around already. The maps help a little but it's better to know by actually walking around to the places

You get introduced to new friends and teachers. Classes will begin as usual and ur teachers will try to inculcate a feeling of responsibility in u as and when the classes start. U will never come to know when the day ended.

Chaos, confusion, and a little bit scary. But all freshmen are feeling that way. By the 2cd day, you'll be fine.
