i've been in two three-year relationships. they both were plagued with problems of infidelity (not on my end, mind you). but other than that, the good times were good, and the bad times were killer.

the best approach is not to think of it in terms of "let's go for two more years." don't go from anniversary to anniversary because you miss all the time in between. just take things a day at a time.

I've been with my husband for 22 years. We went together for 7 before getting married. We really enjoy our relationship; it's the best part of our lives.

What is your reason for being with someone? My reason for being with someone is because you really like them, and enjoy being with them and vice versa. This can develop into real love and commitment and then marriage. But what is your reason for being with someone?
