After all, isn't the death penalty just administored end of life for the uncurable? Should my spelling be subject to capital punishment?

It is rare to see a truly thought provoking question here but yours is one of them. No, is my answer. I believe in Euthenasia but not the death penalty. I suppose I believe that the only person with a right to take your life is you.

My position agrees. I think that everyone has the right to choose their "demise". If they choose to kill someone in a state with the death penalty, then they are choosing to accept the sentence of death if they are caught and convicted.

I have a living will, and I state in it that I do not want to be kept alive by artificial means. Likewise, if there is no chance of recovery, or I cannot enjoy a quality of life that I choose to, I do not want to be revived only to live as a vegetable.

I really don't see how you are relating the two, but I think that my opinion on the two are complementary.

The two have very little in common.
