Remember two things:

1) The richest people have their own businesses, and

2) Not spending money is the same as earning it.

People don't get rich by spending their money.

Its not the career the field that makes a person rich, it never has. Even doctors, lawyers, nurses, etc are merely affluent and not rich and they have to work very hard to be affluent. Want to be rich? Get a good innovative idea that people want and sell it. If you're innovative, smart, and strong enough you can become new money.

I'd say that your best bet is owning a few companies that thrive on themselves, i.e. a mining company, ore processing, and a metals fabrication shop. Something like that, where you can absorb more companies, set your own rates, and scalp money when you need it!

Not ethical, (sometimes not even legal) but you didn't want that did you?

It's difficult to get rich working for others. Find a way to go in business for yourself.
