i know its not very magical, but i felt like i had wind rumbling round my tum. 2nd baby i thought i knew what to look out for, but was different, perhaps because i did know what was happening, but there was a definate kick, 3rd baby different again, which was butterflies. i love those feelings and would love to go through it again. good luck and loadsa love from tina, mum of 3 and perhaps one day 4/5. ps, you should be feeling baby soon, please let me know when you do x. cause i also love hearing peoples experiences on pregnancy.

With my 1st pregnancy, I was only 17. I didn't even know I was pregnant until I was almost 4 months. Didn't notice a change in anything - except that I was missing my period. I didn't feel him until I was over 4 months, and that was when I started to pay attention more.

With later pregnancies, I was more in tune with my body and felt them earlier. I would say about 15 weeks. I never noticed the "bubble feeling" - what I noticed was the baby moving. And kicking. And punching. And in my ribs.

Everyone is different in regard to weeks. It depends more on how well you are in tune with your body, and whether or not you take the time to pay attention. In the earlier months, the baby's bones aren't as strong or as big as later on. Nor are the muscles.

Don't worry so much about whether or not you feel the baby move. Concentrate on having a healthy pregnancy. Just because you don't feel the baby yet or at a certain week, it doesn't by any means mean that there is something wrong with the baby. Only if you miscarried would there be something wrong.

Its the most amazing feeling in the world!!!!
IMAGINE...... You are holding a butterfly cupped between your hands and you can feel the movement of the wings against your palms, it is so subtle and soft, this to me is the only way to explian this movement it is like a fluttering in your tummy, almost ticklish, i felt this very early on in my first pregnancy at about 13 weeks, Dont know why but in my second pregnancy it was much later around 17 weeks... I hope this helps and good luck with all your sleepless nights! Seriously it is a very rewarding time just get plenty of rest.

I was about 4 months or more with my daughter because she was my first and I didn't know what to expect. She never really moved much just a kick or hiccup every now and then. She was pretty docile. My son on the other hand was doing gymnastics in there, from about 13 weeks I think I felt him..might have been 16 I can't remember exactly but I knew what I was looking for..or feeling for rather, it's kinda like....has your eye ever twitched or anything like that..it feels kinda like a twitch...just wait till your baby gets hiccups...it's like when you have hiccups only weirder and longer. congrats!!

This pregnancy I could feel the baby move at 14 weeks. I have a bad habit of laying on my stomach to read or watch tv. I was laying on the bed and I could feel the baby move from one side to another.

it was a very light feeling as if i had i butterfly in my tummy. it lasted just for a second the first time and then there was no movement for some time - week or two - before there was anything again. in the beginning the movement is very slight but later - it gets very strong and you can even see it on you tummy.
usually there is no movement before 4 1/2 months...

Well first let me say it was amazing! My baby first felt like tumbling in my tummy. Like hamsters in the dryer cycle. Over time it became more pronounced. I'm really thin, so the feelings came early, like 15 weeks and they came on a lil strong. It wasnt long before he was ALL over the place! Now I am due like any moment and he "mutates" my belly all over the place. To be honest, I cant wait to deliver because, while its not neccessarily painful, its uncomfortable at times. But in the begining its beautiful, and if you have an active baby like mine, it's entertaining.

1st time I noticed I was 15 weeks. Lying on my tummy in the sand on a Spanish beach.........
Felt like an internal poke in the guts. Quite obvious and definitely not like bubbles or butterflies.

2nd time it wasn't until 22 weeks and I was beginning to get paranoid.

But I'm a midwife so had access to a sonicaid fetal heart monitor..... Phew.

Heard my babies' heartbeat at 11 weeks so knew all was well.

Its wonderful.
Your little secret life within you.
Starts off like wind or butterflies and works up to knowing theres hands, feet and knees sticking out!!
On third pregnancy and its wonderful carrying my little life around with me without the hassle of nappies/crying!!!

Felt movements at about 18 weeks with my first 2 (they are 4and 2 - boy andgirl. but with my baby now at about 20 weeks. Now 33 weeks)

Good luck to you and hope you are well.

I don't care what anyone says, girl, I felt my baby move at like 3 months. I know I did. At first, it felt like little vibrations in my belly, then it turned to "muscle spasm" like feelings. They were really light. I am also really skinny and still am after being 7 months pregnant. My belly is bigger than ever and that is all. I still haven't bought maternity jeans yet. Only shirts. Just wait, the best is yet to come!
