how many different colours of kryptonite are there and what are their effects on superman? eg green kills him, red splits him two etc.

Purple Kryptonite makes him drunk.
Pink Kryptonite makes him attracted to men.
Gold Kryptonite makes him sad and cry like a baby.
Silver Kryptonite makes him give stupid answers.

my friend forced me to watch smallville once and as far as i know there is only green and it never killed him just took away his power.
