I am over my ex. I am having trouble getting over my loss of my marriage. I don't call or have any contact with my ex more than when we exchange our son every other weeken, I have no desire to. I don't need a man I am fine there I am just wanting to begin a relationship.

don't need a man but want to begin a relationship?
how much solid foundation is that relationship going to have when the man in your relationship will know that he is not really needed?
is it that you do not need a man to support you but you want the companionship of a man?
if that is the case then you should try to conceal the i don't need a man mentality, be nice and outgoing and find a guy at the quicky mart, they have everything at the quicky mart

after my divorce. I'd been married for 13 years. I just took some time away from the whole dating and relationship thing. I took about a year before i even thought about dating again. Then i made a list of exactly what i was looking for in potential partner. I posted my profile on some dating sites, including yahoo personals. I scared a lot of men off with my list of what i was looking for. I was tired of players so i was very specific. I would up meeting a few guys. I went out with three guys three times. And then i think there were about four more that i met once. Just for various reasons it didn't work out with them and i was about to give up. That's when the man that i am now engaged to showed up. I met him on yahoo personals also. We had so much in common it was uncanny. We both had daughters that were born on the same date! his dad and my dad were both named james and both had middle initial A. and we both took personality profiles and were matching up on almost everything. So just take your time and no that someone will come along when its time. And put your profile up on yahoo personals. All but one guy i met came from there.
