When ever I've gone there, it always seemed like a site dedicated to professional/ reallllly good artists!

its an ok site.
theres a lot of what i would consider crappy artists on dA but theres also a lot of good art on there too. i especially love the 'daily deviation' feature of the site.
if you like to draw/look at/share anime/manga, its a decent site, anime/manga has a huge following over there. i myself do not like that style of art, but thats irrelevant.

it is an excellent site for newbies because of the input you get and the interactivity that the site allows amongst artists.
plus it is a great way to improve on your personal art by actually looking at all the many many great artists out there... so what you waitin for join up already.

Most of the people on DA are nice. Don't worry if you seem inexperienced, or feel like your art isn't 'good enough'. Everyone was a newbie once.

i think it is, there are all sorts of artists on there. some are vary talented, and others are new with drawing. every1 there is nice to you and helps you out. its a great place to post your art and browse around through other artists web pages. i'be been using DA for over a year now and i love it

is ok for newbies but the software they use sucks so if you're on a slow computer things take forever and I just get impatient in general, expecially since the point is to look at all these pictures which take forever to come up when you want to veiw them.

anyone can join, as long as you have something to show-- theres plenty of student artisit Ive seen there, and some real nice stuff and real crap.. but people wont hate on you if you subit something so-so
