Now this folding cube had red/white and black/white squares on it (depending on which way it was folded). It also split into two parts which independently would also form either a star shape or individual cubes. In addition to this I also used to have another cube which also formed into a cube of the same size. This was gold and silver. This cube was made up of two individual rings. These rings when configured correctly would also make a large shape which would enable me to put the first (folding cube) inside. Confused? Hope not. Answers on a postcard please...

I think the puzzle you're on about is Rubik's snake. There are some available on EBay ATM. There are also some other Rubik's puzzles. I had them all when I was a girl, my favourite was the pyramid.

I used 2 have one but can't remember what it was called. Think it came from rubix though (rubix cube)
