One thing that made gas go up is the Katina serveral months ago. Also the econmy, goceries, homegoods ect are higher priced, which makes gas go up for delivery of the products from truckers ect. I am in colorado and our gas price is 2.98 right now.

supply and demand... demand is going up because China and India are improving economically which drives the price up... dont worry though, its only going to get worse
