I worship the Red Sox! How can you not love Ortiz!!!! My favorite player used to be Nomar Garciaparra, he is still my favorite player in the MLB, but obviously not on the red sox!! My fav on the Sox right now is Gabe Kapler!!

I am a Red Sox fan in Minnesota. I became one through my father who was from New Hampshire. I follow the Twins but LOVE the Sox. Big Papi is my favorite player on the team now. I saw him in Minnesota for a few years, when the manager here wanted him to be a singles hitter.

Am a Yankees Fan but Ortiz is my favorite player from that organization and he make you get out of your chair when its a 1 run game at the 9th inning.

Hey, I'm a Yankees fan!!!!!! Well, to bad, I'm here anyway! I do not like Ortiz and I don't like anyone on the Red Sux. I like Derek Jeter, A-Rod, Jason Giambi, Jorge Posada, Johnny Damon (HA HA we have him now!!!!) and all of those other players/coaches on the Yanks. The Yankees won today 8 to1 against the Jays and now the Red Sux are a half game behind us Yanks in the AL east. I really, really hope the Red Sux loose tonight!!!!!!! GO YANKEES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:-)

I am a Red Sox fan from New Zealand, and i have no connection to New Hampshire
Ortiz and Manny are probably the best players, and i support them,
But my favourite would be among Becket, Lowell, Papelbon or Lester.
I am also a Marlins fan :)

Manny Ramirez is the best Red Sox player. Period. End of discussion. Anyone that disagrees should look at who is leading the AL (again) in OPS (the single most important stat to judge a hitter).

My Favorite Red Sox player's have been the ones that left the red sox and played for someone else and have won the world series for other teams. Babe Ruth,Wade Boggs and Johnny Damon in 2007 what can I say................ I almost forgot about the Rocket.........
