if the air works at all, run it, then find the line that's cold...thats the low one. otherwise, the one that doesn't go the the condenser in front of the radiator.
a/c can be pretty touchy, esp. with R-134a systems...are you sure you should be messing with this? I'd hate to see you asking a question next week about how to deal with a blown out a/c compressor...

the low pressure is always the smaller tube and is usually on the right side of the condenser and if your compressor comes on at all then the smaller line will sweat and that is the one that the port will be on and you will just have to fallow it to find it, My 95 cutlass is right under the air box on the left side so the easiest way is to follow the small line till you find it.

country boy is WRONG ,the low pressure side is always the biggest pipe,if you connect to the small pipe(high pressure) there is a danger of the can exploding. Also both pipes are equal pressure when stopped. So recharge with engine running.

I may be wrong about this, but most do it yourself charging systems have one hose. Since the two fittings are different sizes, you aren't going to screw up and put the charging line on the wrong one.
