Is there any real basis for starting a war? Do you think real and affected people involved agree with it?

GREED and STUPIDITY!

We, as human beings, are happy to boast of how we are the most intelligent beings on earth. Yet, after countless wars, and the resultant deaths of billions of people, we still haven't learnt to live in peace with each other. To suggest for one moment, that ‘war’ is a means of attaining ‘peace’ proves just how 'unintelligent' we really are!

Religion, or the co-opting of religion to oppress others, has always been the cause of problems around the world and it will always be the cause. Until supposedly educated people can look at the bible and not try to read it literally and actually believe God wrote it, you are not going to have peace. There are just too many people like them out there whose faith makes them intolerant (at the very least) and violently opposed to others at the worst.

Sadly, Islam will most likely cause the first nuclear attack since they believe (as many fanatics do) that we need Armageddon before their god can return and see death as better than life- so why value life. Hopefully the moderates will come out of the darkness and stop this, but we'll see.

I dont know exactly what you are saying but the devil makes people do wrong things..very bad things also. And people start wars because they get mad at one another and are to immature to stop and think about how many people they are going to kill...they just get caught up in their own madness.

I think that it's the sinful, destructive human nature, but also politics plays a major part.
