I haven't been to jail but I have gone inside a jail before because I work for a prosecutor and sometimes we go out to the jail to see a defendant. It is not a nice place. There are small cells with bunks and a toilet in each cell. The inmates have on orange outfits with the county jail name on the back. Officers are in different spots keeping an eye on the inmates. They have a common area for tv watching. I feel caged just from being back there for a short period of time. That's why I abide by the law. I'm chicken!

I have I use to be in the habit, 25 years ago ending up in jail only on the weekends. (My nick name was Otis) I'd always get caught driving drunk, but only on the weekends. I was lucky I never hurt anyone. I lost my license for a year, but I kept driving, they never caught me. I don't do that any more. I was a teen then, and the total time I spent in jail was 9 days, but not all at once. This was 9 weekends in a row, and when the judge told me the last time I went up in front of him, if he ever saw me again I'd go away for good. Well, that was all it took for me to straighten up !

Luckily I got esponged from that one. Just happened to be with the wrong people at the wrong time. I mean, I was a user, but the stuff wasn't mine at the time. But I didn't rat anybody out, and they couldn't prove it was mine, so I got out of it. I quit doing drugs that very day. If only I had quit drinking as well:

Ok, so I got drunk and got into a fight with this guy that grabbed an iron...yeah a clothes iron... and he threw it at me. I picked it up and started hitting him with it. Then we fought. Cops came, and tried to arrest me, but I started cursing at the officer for trying to arrest a fellow police officer. I gave them a name from another county, and they started getting really nice, but were still arresting me. Then they took my wallet out. Oops...forgot that was back there. Luckily I had witnesses that said I was no trouble until the guy threw the iron at me. So they dropped all the charges. But I had to do community service for cursing at the officer.

i have once for a Dui! It sucked I was trying to sleep and there were roaches, rats, and crickets everywhere and you could hear the cops fighting with people they brought in saying stuff like "This is my prison *****!!!" It was scary. I was only 19 and wearing a little mini skirt.

i spent 4 years, i will never go back.
not as crazy as the movies, but its really hard on the soul, it makes you grow up and you miss your family and friends more than you ever thought possible. you appreciate awhole lot more once you finally step back into civilization!!! I actually just got off my 5 years of probation as well ( monday ) no more ties to those people!!!!!!! yeah!!!!
oh, on a good note...... sex is amazing once you get ahold of a girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

Once. This drunk lady tried to hit my mom so I beat her a$$ down. No regrets at all. I would do it all over again. No one better mess with my momma!
