I felt like I could be more honest with myself and my parents. That helped, it was also nice that I found I had brothers and sisters that could help me through and that I could fight for.

Its different for everyone and situations are different. Some people over the years have had a hard time and wished they didn't. Myself... I was the best thing for me, I felt proud and honest to my self. Had some struggles with mom, but we made it through. She is very supportive now and I never regretted it ever.

Oh, much better. Now I don't have to hide my girlfriends or push them off as "friends" and I no longer have to lie about what clubs I'm going to. And it was getting kind of old having to hide all of my rainbow gear and model posters behind the door in my room, lol.

Yes, I felt a huge weight lift off my shoulders and I felt like I could finally be myself and not have to tiptoe around ever comment I made hoping that they wouldn't catch on.

Not at first, because I was in high school in a tiny tiny tiny town in rural Pennsylvania. It takes time to build your confidence and self-esteem. Especially when you are surrounded by bible thumpers and amish people.

actuly yes even with all the crap that hapened yes it is better to live life as yourself and not as a shell of the person you are inside
