no its not morbid - when you are the only one around its worth thinking about your own funeral - otherwise who will?

What hymns ( or pop song or whatever) would you like sung or played at your funeral

I am going to have :
Dear Lord and Father of mankind, forgive our foolish ways and
Here I am Lord, it is I lord..

and then at the end I want "I'll see you in my dreams" as sung by joe Brown at the "Concert for George"

and you???

."you'll never walk alone" sung by Gerry and the pacemakers, Liverpool f/c anthem,, but so appropriate. and then i would like Doris day's, somewhere over the rainbow, so that when my grand kids see one they can think of me. and then to finish it all i would like the song bat out of hell by meatloaf

don't know about hymns but I would want
Time after time - cyndi lauper

and the poem from 4 weddings and a funeral - he was my north, my south
my east, my west etc.

then to finish it off - 99 red balloons (song) and at the same time 99 balloons are released, bit tacky but would rather end it with a celebration.
