Canada post is open usual business hours like most stores, 9-5 usually. Go to this link and you can find a post office near you and find out its hours of operation:

Mine is open 7 days a week at Shoppers Drug Mart on Markham Road & 14th.

they supposed to open from 8am to 5pm and some of them open until 7pm ... depends on location
