No, it is NOT natural to have an affair while you are married! If you are having an affair, that means that something is wrong with your relationship! Unless you are both into swinging, then you are having an affair to try and find something that you are missing in your marriage. If someone is having an affair, it is because they are not happy with either themselves or their partner and are looking for something different. I hope that you are not cheating, or that someone is not cheating on you. Even if that is the case, sit down with your partner and talk to them about it. Worse case scenario is that someone decides to leave! And even then, that should be better than being in a relationship built on lies and mistrust!

Although it is very common for people to have affairs it is not a natural thing. People do things for many different reasons, from getting involved with a person to cheating on that same person they chose to be with. To have a healthy monogamous relationship people should first ask themselves why are they with the person their with. Then ask why are they feeling a need to look outside of the relationship for something that seems missing. But then there are those who don't want monogamy....and that's a whole different topic.

There is a theory that man was not meant to be monogamous. There may be something to that because even married men find the opposite sex still attractive. I don't think people have affairs based on boredom, I think a more common cause is some type of problem, like lack of sex, abuse, drinking, etc.

I believe it starts when the other person isn't paying enough attention to their spouses wants and needs. Others are just plain dogs and are selfish shallow and inconsiderate. It is not natural for men and woman to take chances like this. Most married people want a life of monogamy, trust and love.

Yes, it's natural (it is human nature to want to appeal to the opposite sex for as long as possible) but society does not view it as 'right'. There is a distinct difference there.
Affairs happen for as many reasons as there are for falling in love. There is no one-size fits all answer for why affairs happen.

no its not natural.....and no i dont think it has any thing to do with boredom.
if you truely love someone then you wouldnt consider having an affair.......you wouldnt even want to look at someone else because you wouldnt want to.
if its the right person for you,you would feel the chemistry......if the chemistry is there with someone out side of your marriage then maybe you married the wrong person in the first place.

No, it's not natural. There are plenty of people who are married a lifetime and never cheat on their spouse. It's a choice people made between being loyal to their spouse and their marriage and giving in to their own desires, however fleeting they may be.

No, it's not natural. When either one gets hurt, it is so difficult to gain his/her trust again. You'll no longer lead a happy life and might as well end-up in a divorce. Talk to your partner should you have problems, rather than find someone else to talk to.
