For example, a perfectly capable co-worker delegating a task to someone else b/c they think it's below them, and/or just don't feel like doing it?!

Because a) they can get away with it and b) they haven't worked out yet that what goes around comes around.

Basically, the people they delegate to, need to stick up for themselves and claim to be busy elsewhere, or challenge the individual *politely* on why they cannot complete the task themselves. This way the individual either feels that they must complete the task as otehrs won't, or attention has been drawn to them, or the work goes uncompleted, and there's only one person to blame - themselves, as there was no reason for them to delegate the work in the first place.

Secondly, if they continue the way they're going, their life is going to be hell when the people below them get promoted above them, which is definitely going to happen. After all, why would anyone promote the lazy bum above the slave to the grind? They need to wise up fast.

Don't worry, karma will kick them in the a*se sharpish.

Good question, wondered that many times. Why do people spend more time and energy to get out of something than the time it took to just do the task and do it right. All I can figure is that the 10 percent most people use averagely of the brain, that isn't the part their using. viva la difference:-)

people are lazy because they weigh the risks with the gains and they simply rather not take a decision, because they are just as comfortable sitting on their ***...

Personally I agree with this philosophy, and I think it will do great progress to humanity.

The day we invent sex robots and everything is given to us --3d simulation world where you are rich and people appreciate you and praise you for doing nothing...ahhh, what a good person..bla bla bla...and suck your cock) , humanity will degenerate, and we will all become lazy, thus, no one will work for anything--and thus, the value of humans will go down..

This will be the perfect Utopia for my rise upon the earth.

I guess you now know who I am.

The work place functions on the class system. The president of the company is probably capable of doing it too.....but he's the president.

Hi,
Today's society is so pampered, and with today's technology, we all have become lazy in one way or another, and it is second nature to be that way in other aspects of our lives as well.

Not everyone is. But for those who are, they just don't want to work. For their own stupid, selfish reason, they don't and won't work.
